How do I upload a resume?
From your dashboard, click "Create or Upload Resume" and choose the import option. You can drag and drop a PDF or DOCX file, and SkillSift will parse it into editable sections.
How does the job analysis work?
Paste a job description on the analyze page for any resume. SkillSift uses AI to compare your resume against the role, scoring it on skills, keywords, experience, and readability. You get specific gaps and rewrite suggestions.
Is my resume data shared or used for training?
No. Resume content stored in your account and job descriptions used for analysis are sent to our AI provider only for the live request, are not used for model training, and are not retained by the provider beyond the request lifecycle. Resume workspaces are stored in your account in Firestore, protected by transport/rest encryption, and subject to automatic retention cleanup. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
Sign in and go to the Account page from your sidebar. Confirm deletion there to remove your account profile, billing metadata, stored resumes, and audit history from our servers.
Can I export my resume?
Yes. Open a resume, run or revisit analysis, and use the Export PDF button from the analysis results screen to download it as a PDF.
What does the Pro plan unlock?
Pro removes the free-tier daily analysis cap, unlocks ATS diagnostics, adds resume variants, and includes workflow tools like pipeline tracking, interview prep packs, and application kit exports.
